2020 Store Policies
Our store calculates shipping based on cart value, which is not always accurate. If you have concerns with your estimated shipping cost, please do not hesitate to email us and we will confirm the true price. We also review every order and will either reimburse you if you paid too much for shipping, or send another invoice if your shipping cost online was not sufficient.
Shipping labels are usually prepared 3-5 days before the actual ship date. Once you receive your shipping confirmation email, please allow this time before seeing a change in tracking status. Our shipping drop off is every Friday, unless Friday happens to fall on a holiday, then the drop off for that week will be the prior Thursday.
All Sales are Final. Unfortunately, we can’t offer you a refund or exchange once an order is placed. Our products are built to order or held in limited stock. This includes orders that have not yet shipped out. Please note, once your order is placed, it CANNOT be canceled. We begin the manufacturing process for your order immediately, and cannot offer you a refund due to lead time. Our lead times are clearly posted, and you are more than welcome to contact us directly if you have a deadline to meet.
WARRANTIES/ DEFECTIVE PRODUCT:
If your product has a manufacturing defect, or you have a quality concern, please reach out to our engineering department by sending an email to email@example.com. If it is deemed a true manufacturing defect we will replace your product with a new unit, or offer store credit for future use. Built 2 Apex, Inc. holds final discretion in any product investigation.
At this time, our lead times posted on the product pages are only intended to be used as estimates. Please contact us at your convenience for order updates, while we continue to work towards cutting down shipping times. If your order is more urgently needed, please let us know so we may prioritize your parts. Prioritization of orders will now be subject to a minimum $250 expedite fee. Items shown as out of stock will no longer be available for purchase until we rebuild inventory. When the item is available again we will share inventory status on the website and via our social media channels. Custom orders are no longer accommodated.
All orders will now be placed in chronological order of the date of purchase. This means your order has not started until your balance is paid in full. This also means you will be placed in line based on your purchase date. The only way to move your order up in priority is to pay an additional minimum $250.00 expedite fee, which is subject to change based on your order. ORDER STATUS AND RESPONSE TIME:
Please allow at least 3-5 business days for a response regarding your order status. If you have not received a response within 3-5 days please do not hesitate to send another email. A lack of a response does not mean we forgot about you, it only means we are diligently working to get orders out.
COMING SOON, PRE-ORDERS, AND NEWLY RELEASED PRODUCTS:
Please allow for open lead times with newly released or pre-ordered products. We do our best to provide lead time estimates, but it is more important to us to ensure the product we deliver meets quality expectations. Rushed pre-orders have resulted in poor fitment issues, and we will not repeat those mistakes. Do not take part in our pre-order or coming soon order programs if you are in a rush! We will have inventory once the product is formally released, do not try to rush products that are still in the design stage.
COLLECTION OF PERSONAL INFORMATION
When you use our Products or Website, you may be asked for personally identifiable information such as your name, address, email address, and telephone number.
By giving us such information, you will need to consent by using it in the manner described in this policy.
You may withdraw your consent at any time by emailing us at email@example.com. We will return or destroy your personal information within five days of receipt of your withdrawal of consent.
All security on our Website is treated seriously. Where applicable, we undertake security steps, including use of SSL technology, on our back-end systems that store customer account information and to protect data transmissions. However, this is not a guarantee that such data transmissions cannot be accessed, altered or deleted due to firewall or other security software failures.
